The obituary of Mr. Gearl W. Fields Officiating Ministers: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis & Rev. Tommy Fields Mr. Gearl Fields, 61, of 270 Dixon Branch Rd. Wooton, Ky., departed this life on Thursday, Decemeber 5, 2013 at the University of Ky. Medical Center, Lexington, Ky. He was born at Richmond, KY the son of the late Pearl Fields & Leona Howard Fields. Gearl was a life-long resident of Leslie County. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY. He was an avid music lover (played electric guitar) & enjoyed farm animals. He was also a caregiver for his family members. Mr. Gearl W. Fields was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Matt & Bobby and sister: Patty Fields. He leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving & devoted wife: Lorie Lewis Fields of Wooton, KY; father & mother-in-law: Edwin & Joyce Lewis; brothers: Pearl Fields of Wooton, KY., Jimmy Fields & Donna of Hyden, KY & Kenneth Fields & Glenda of Stinnett, KY.; sisters: Pauletta Hunt of Michigan, Linda Maxine Fields of Wooton, KY & Donna Bailey & Eugene of Slemp, KY; Special Friends: Paul Coots & Family, father-in-law: Edwin Lewis & Mike Caldwell. A host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins & other relatives and friends survive. FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M. - Sunday - December 8, 2013 @ the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ - Smilax, KY.
