Vaughn was born on November 3, 1937 in Wallins, KY. (Harlan County) and passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London, KY. Benny was residing at London, Ky. and was 75 years of age at the time of his passing. He was the Son of the late Grenbery Vaughn and the late Elverine Vaughn and was the Husband of Margie Roberts Vaughn. By occupation Benny was a former Owner & Manager of Debra Lee's Restaurant in Dayton, Ohio. Benny was a resident of London, KY. for the past 7 years coming from Ohio. He was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and being involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He was Preceded in Death by his: Parents: Grenbery Vaughn and Elverine Vaughn; Brothers: Odel Vaughn, Johnny Vaughn and Darius Vaughn; Sisters: Franceine Osborne & Bill and Colletta Voresky & Henry; Grandson: Brayden Vaughn. He leaves surviving the following relatives: Wife: Margie Roberts Vaughn of London, KY.; Daughters: Rachel Vaughn of Dayton, Ohio & Tanya Gard of Jamestown, Ohio; Son: Royce Vaughn of Dayton, Ohio; Brother: Gary Vaughn of Norwood, Ohio; Sister: Jerry Howard of Norwood, Ohio; Grandchildren: Brandon Gard, Courtny Vaughn, Jakob Reed, Cassie Vaughn, Matthew Vaughn & Sabrina and Justin Vaughn; Great Grandson: Bentley Spencer. Funeral service for Mr. Benny C. Vaughn will be conducted on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Hyden, KY. with Rev. Eugene "Friday" Roberts, Rev. Logan Roberts & Keith Bowling officiating and Eulogy will be read by Courtny Vaughn. Burial will follow in the Jim Roberts Family Cemetery on Muncy Creek Rd. at Stinnett, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Brandon Gard, James Roberts, Matthew Hoskins, Jeff Kolaczkowski, Joe Dix, Tommy Hoskins, Jimmy Roberts & Stevie Roberts. Visitation will be on Saturday also beginning at 12:00 Noon at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel until time of funeral service.
