The obituary for Mr. Homer North Officiating Minister: Rev. Phillip Bell Mr. Homer North was born on April 28, 1936 and departed this life on December 21, 2009 at the Mary Breckenridge Hospital at the age of 73 years. Homer was the son of the late Nick & Hannah North. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was a retired coal miner. He enjoyed gardening, four wheeling, the outdoors, landscaping and hunting. Mr. Homer North was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Charlie North, Carl North & Ralph North; sister: Susie. He leaves the following relatives surviving: wife: Mollie Napier North of Mozelle, KY.; daughters: Lisa Roberts & Dallas of Stinnett, KY. and Denise Collins & O'Brian of Hindman, KY.;brothers: Hobert North and Danny North; sisters: Fannie Williams, Marcia Woods & Mark, Betty Daisy, Rae Withrow and Glenna North; grandchildren: Kimberly Roberts, Brandon Roberts and Corey Collins. Funeral services for Mr. Homer North will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Monday - December 28, 2009 at the Lower Beechfork United Methodist Church. Interment will follow the funeral at the Mosley Cemetery at Mozelle, KY. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 5:00 P.M. - Sunday - December 27, 2009 at the church.
