Gusta Eversole

The obituary of Gusta Eversole Officiating Minister: Rev. Henry Clay Robertson Mr. Gusta Eversole born September 20, 1913 departed this life on May 29, 2010 at the age of 96 years. He was born at Confluence,KY the son of the late Roscoe Eversole and the Late Perlina Huff Eversole. By occupation he was a retired coal miner and had been a life long resident of Leslie County Kentucky. Gusta Eversole was baptized and a member of the Grace Brethren Baptist Church at Confluence, KY.& attended the Confluence Baptist Church in his later years. He was the first person to transport children out of Wilder Branch and Peach Orchard. Gusta was a quite man who will be greatly missed by his family, however they know he is in heaven today. Gusta was preceded in death by his parents: Roscoe and Perlina Eversole; Wife and soul mate of 52 years: Bessie Langdon Eversole; two daughters: Pauline Eversole Estep and Arthie Eversole; four grandsons, two great grandsons, and one great grand daughter. He leaves surviving the following relatives: two sons: Damon Eversole & Connie of Phoenix, AZ., Dwight Eversole of Poplar Bluff, MO,; five daughters: Ola Deaton of Beattyville, KY., Faye Begley & Norman of Wooton, KY., Sadie Begley of Confluence, KY., Charry Phillips of Burnside, KY. and Mary Rutherford of Phoenix, AZ.; Special friend: Christine Combs; two sisters: Vinna Moody of Oldfield, MO., Letha Eversole Towley & Glen of Potaka, IL.; 23 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 46 great great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Gusta Eversole will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday - June 2, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Clay Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Eversole Family cemetery located at Wilder Branch-Confluence, KY. Friends may call for visitation at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday- June 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
