The Obituary of Mr. Burchell "Gus" Napier Officiating Minister: Rev. Kevin Napier and Rev. Sam Baer Mr. Burchell "Gus" Napier was born on October 2, 1962 and passed away on Wednesday ~ July 20, 2011 in Dayton, Ohio. He was 48 years of age at the time of his passing. He was the Son of the late James "Jim" Napier and the late Isabelle Rice Napier. By occupation he was a Disabled Tree Trimmer. He was formerly a resident of Leslie County and was residing in Dayton, OH. at the time of his death where he lived for the past 17 years. Burchell was affiliated with the Anna C. Brush United Presbyterian Church and enjoyed four-wheeling and yard work as hobbies and enjoyed his dogs. He was Preceded in Death by: Parents: James "Jim" and Isabelle; Son: Burchell, Jr.; Brother: Claude Edward Napier; Sister: Shirley Ann Napier; Special Aunt: Pauline Griffie. Burchell leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Patricia Plummer; Daughters: Megan Joseph of Viper, KY. and Ashley Napier of Dayton, OH.; Brother: Ray Napier & Polly of Hyden, KY.; Sisters: Donna Napier & Richard Bowling of Hyden, KY., Joan Napier & Keith of Hyden, KY. and Kathy "Cap" Deaton of Hyden, KY.; Best Friend: Cooch Morris; Nieces: Jessie Lynn Harris, Lisa Mosley & Ben, Tonya Hacker and Candy Hacker; Nephews: James Quentin Lewis & Sharissa and Heydrinne Whitehead; Great Nieces: Olivia Harris, Ariana Asher, Alexia Asher Marissa Gracelyn Lewis, Leanna Mosley; Great Nephew: Tate Harris. Funeral services for Mr. Burchell "Gus" Napier will be conducted on Sunday ~ July 24, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Anna C. Brush United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kevin Napier, Rev. Sam Baer, & Rev. Randy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Napier Family Cemetery in Dryhill, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Jason Bowling, Thomas Asher, Hershel Asher, Scott Hazlett,Jonthan Hazlett, John Couch, Cooch Morris, James Quentin Lewis and Allen Whitehead. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Darrell Bowling. Visitation will begin on Saturday ~ July 23, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. at the Church.
