The Obituary Mrs. Ida Barger Feltner Green Officiating Ministers: Rev. George Abner, Rev. Frank Rodriquez,Rev. Charles Woods & Rev. Bob Rice Mrs. Ida Barger Feltner Green born August 7, 1923, died Tuesday-April 15, 2008 at Franklin N.C. at the age of 84 years 8 months and 8 days old. She was born Alberta, Canada and moved to Oneida, Kentucky with her parents the late Robert and Ebbie Barger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Feltner who died in 1954 and sisters Etta Deaton, Luli Barger and brothers Ed, Ted, and Dewey Barger. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Ida loved to quilt. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Silas Green; one sister, Meadie Deaton of Austin, IN, and one brother, Irvin Barger of Austin, IN; eight children, Hazel Rickman of Franklin, NC, Meadie Stewart and Charles Felter both of Manchester, KY, Robert Frank Feltner, Paul Feltner and Rosetta Gilbert all of Oneida, KY, Mary Lee of Franklin, NC and Paul Edward Feltner of London, KY; three step-children, Dorothy Wilkes and Jim Green of Franklin, NC and Florence Bulla of Lexington, NC; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren; twenty-two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 at Brutus Baptist Church in Brutus, KY. Burial will be at the Haystack Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. - Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Brutus Baptist Church. Dwayne Walker Funeral Home in Charge of Arrangements.
