The Obituary of Bernice D. Begley Officiating Minister: Rev. Patrick Morgan & Rev. Mickey Roberts Bernice D. Begley was born on March 20, 1923 in Breathitt Co., Ky., the daughter of the late Charlie & Catherine Haddix Deaton. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, KY. at the age of 90 years, 1 month & 26 days. She had been a resident of Leslie Co. since 1961 coming from Indiana. By occupation she was a former employee for Delco & Shirt Factory in Ohio. She was a member of the Grace Brethren Chapel & enjoyed going to the lake & boating. Bernice D. Begley was preceded in death by her parents; Charlie & Catherine Haddix Deaton, husband; Heatch Begley, Sr. & a host of brothers & sisters. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 2 sons; Heatch Begley Jr. & Sheila of Hyden, KY. & Alexander Begley & Regenia of Hyden, KY., 1 daughter; Brenda C. Smith & John of Stinnett, KY., 5 grandchildren; Jeff Begley & Heather, Bernita C. Hoskins & Daronnie, Jonathan T. Smith & Leandra, Angela Napier & Joey & William Shelby Begley & 7 great-grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Morgan & Rev. Mickey Roberts officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers; Jeff Begley, Jonathan Smith, Daronnie Hoskins, Larry Begley, Lonnie Begley, Michael Begley & Gary N. Begley. Burial will follow in the Henry & Ella Begley Cemetery at Hyden, KY.
