The Obituary of Mr. Lonnie Dale Brock Mr. Lonnie Dale Brock was born on December 28, 1932 in Asher, (Leslie Co.,) KY. and passed away on Thursday ~ December 29, 2011 at his residence in Hazard, KY. He was 79 years of age at the time of his passing. Lonnie was the Son of the late Cloyd Brock & the late Hazel Hoskins and Husband of Joyce Allen Brock. By occupation he was a Construction Worker (Home Builder), Safety Inspector for OSHA and Truck Driver (Coal & Long Haul). Lonnie was a lifelong resident of Leslie and Perry County. He was an accomplished Blue Grass Musician and recorded several albums. He was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Cloyd & Hazel Hoskins Brock; Daughter: Lisa Elaine Brock, Son: Vaughn Ashley Brock. Mr. Lonnie Dale Brock leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Joyce Allen Brock of Hazard, KY.; Children: Gary Dale Brock of Ohio, Denise Kay Feist & husband, Ron, of Idaho, Cloyd Mitchell Brock and wife, Teri, of Alabama, Greta Leigh Brock Wilson and husband, Ron, of London, Ky. Siblings: Carlos Ray Brock & wife, Wavelene of Ohio, Greta Brock Legg & husband, of Tennessee, Betty Brock of Florida, Robert Brock and wife, Margie, of Ohio, and a host of treasured grandchildren & great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Lonnie Dale Brock will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home ~ Hyden, KY. on Monday ~ January 2, 2012 with Rev. Eldon Miller officiating. The interment will follow in the Hoskins Family Cemetery in Hoskinston, KY. Pallbearers include: Mitchell Brock, Adam Brock, Kevin Brock and Bobby Brock. Honorary Pallbearers include: Carlos Brock and Bobby Brock. Visitation will also be on Monday ~ January 2, 2012 beginning at 12:00 Noon until time of Funeral at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home.
