Teddy Couch Mrs. Alice Napier born May 17, 1928 departed this life on April 30, 2010 at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital, Hyden, Ky. She was 81 years, 11 months, & 13 days old. Alice was born at Jason, Ky., the daughter of the late Floyd Collins and the late Mallie Bowling Collins. Alice was a homemaker & a devoted & loving wife, mother & grandmother. She was affiliated with the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky. Alice enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, & reading her bible as hobbies. Alice was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., residing at 15 Brooklawn Drive, Hyden, Ky., at the time of her death. Mrs. Mrs. Alice Napier was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd Collins & Mallie Bowling Collins, one son: Pearl Napier, Jr., one brother: John Henry Collins, one sister: Sophia Collins Sizemore, & one grandson: Jamie Napier. Mrs. Alice Napier leaves the following relatives surviving: loving and devoted husband: Pearl Napier, two sons: Johnny Glenn Napier & Bill Napier of Hyden, Ky., two daughters: Mallie Napier - Noble & husband, Steve of Hyden, Ky., and Judy Napier of Hyden, Ky., three sisters: Della Sizemore of Big Creek, Ky., Esther Stidham of Wooton, Ky., & Goldie Butterfield of Bradenton, Florida, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Alice Napier will be conducted at 1:00 P.M.- Tuesday - May 4, 2010 at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky., with Rev. Jerry Holland, Rev. Larry Smith, Rev. Ray Napier, Rev. Andrew Farmer, Rev. Andy Turner & Rev. Teddy Couch officiating. The interment will follow in the Collins Family Cemetery, Freedom Branch, Bear Branch, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. Friends may call for visitation after 6:00 p.m. - Sunday at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky., all day Monday, and until the funeral hour @ 1:00 p.m- Tuesday.
