"Buck" Pennington was born on February 11, 1953 & departed this life on September 29, 2012 at the age of 59 years. He was born at Hyden, KY the son of the late Ruth Vanover Pennington and Wilburn Pennington, Sr. By occupation he was a Self-Employed carpenter and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Buck enjoyed hunting and fishing as hobbies. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth. Buck leaves surviving the following relatives: father: Wilburn Pennington, Sr. of Corbin, KY, one brother: Wilburn Pennington Jr. & Jean Anne of Hyden, KY. six sisters: Sharon Hamblin & Ed of Corbin, KY, Rhonda Adams & Donnie of Hyden, KY, Sheila Gayheart & Lester of Bradford, OH, Johnnie Banks & Leroy of Middletown, OH, Anna Stidham of Hyden, KY, and Tina Pennington of Corbin, KY. Mr. Larry "Buck" Pennington is survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Larry W. "Buck" Pennington will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Hensley-Wooton Cemetery located at Wooton, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Josh Alaniz, Wayne Adams, Chase Stidham, Travis Stidham & A.D. Baker.
