The Obituary of Mr. Bige Begley Mr. Bige Begley was born on January 7, 1931 in Cutshin, KY. and departed this life on February 11, 2012 at the Eastern Kentucky Veteran's Center in Hazard, KY. at the age of 81 years. Bige was the Son of the late Logan Begley and the late Bessie Couch Begley. He was the Husband of Zola Farmer. By occupation he was a Coal Miner and Truck Driver. Bige honorably served in the U.S. Army ~ Korean War. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County, formerly residing in Stinnett, KY. He was a Member of the Church of God. Bige enjoyed landscaping and gardening as hobbies. He was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Logan & Bessie Couch Begley; A host of Brothers and Sisters. He leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Zola Farmer Begley of Stinnett, KY.; Son: Robert Carlos Begley & Beulah of Stinnett, KY.; Daughters: Diane Madden, Deborah Morgan and Carolyn Sizemore all of Stinnett, KY.; Brother: Virgil Begley of Ohio; Sister: Nora Rutledge of Florida; Grandchildren: James Begley, April Begley, Christopher Sizemore, Joey Begley, Robert Triston Begley and Matthew Morgan; Great Grandchildren: Jamie Jr. Begley, Chelsea Begley and Hunter Sizemore. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Stinnett Gap Church of God with Rev. Logan Roberts and Billy Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardy Bottom Cemetery at Stinnett, KY with full Military Rites observed by the Leslie County DAV Chapter#133. The following will serve as pallbearers; Christopher Sizemore, Robert Triston Begley, James Begley, Joey Begley, James Begley, Jr. and Matthew Morgan.
