Lonis Wells 12/7/2013 Lonis Wells, age 71, husband of Shirley (Turner) Wells of Oak Street, Berea, Kentucky and formerly of Leslie County, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 07, 2013 at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky. He was the father of Katherine Diskey and husband Joshua, and Nancy Wells and husband Dino all of Berea, Kentucky. The brother of Rose Mitchell of Yeaddiss, Kentucky, Melinda Maggard of Cutshin, Kentucky, June Joseph of Wooten, Kentucky, and Dorothy Wells of Tennessee. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Logan Diskey, Jeramiah Diskey, Trystan Watson, Nataleigh Underwood, and Peyton Underwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mat and Mallie (Maggard) Wells, by four sisters; Jane Boggs, Lois Wells, Mildred Campbell, and Mary Begley; by two brothers, Felix Wells and Jim Wells. Funeral services for Lonis Wells will be conducted Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steven Riddle officiating.
