The obituary of Mrs. Georgia Jones Osborne. Mrs. Georgia Jones Osborne, age 85, of Sizerock, KY passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. She was born on Dec. 2, 1927 at Thousandsticks, Kentucky the daughter of the late Sherman Jones and the late Hallie Woods Jones. By occupation Georgia was a retired dietary worker for the Mary Breckinridge Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, attending church and spending time with her family. Georgia was affiliated with the Couch's Fork Church of God and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY She was preceded in death by her parents: Sherman & Hallie Jones, husband: Shelvie, two sons: R.B. Osborne and Merle Osborne, brother: Lester Jones and sister: Laura Morgan. She leaves surviving the following relatives: three sons: Delbert Osborne & Karen of Dayton, OH, Bill Osborne & Wendy of Sizerock, KY, Roger Osborne of Dayton, OH, two daughters: Joyce Elam of Dayton, OH, Zona Turner & Robert of Hyden, KY, one brother: Cecil Jones, Jr. & Darlene of North Vernon, IN, two sisters: Bessie Couch of Thousandsticks, KY, Rowena Bauman & Marvin of London, KY, eight grandchildren: Wayne Elam, Jason Osborne, Rebecca Osborne, Robert Osborne, Delbert Osborne, Jr., Shelvie Andrew Osborne, Jonathan Osborne, and Amanda Osborne, eight great grandchildren: Gary Elam, Jessica Hodge, Hannah Elam, Stephanie Osborne, Daniel Osborne, Delbert Osborne III, Gabriel Osborne and Melodie Osborne. one great great grandchild: Mya Hodge. Georgia is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. FUNERAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Jones Osborne will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday-August 8, 2013 at the Sizerock Baptist Church @ Sizerock, KY OFFICIATING MINISTERS: Rev. Jesse Martin and Rev.
