The Obituary for Mr. Adam John Gay Officiating Ministers: Pastor Wayne Bowling and Rev. Jessie Martin Mr. Adam John Gay was born on October 24, 1943 in Southfield, Michigan and departed this life on November 5, 2012 at the St. Joseph of London Health-Care at the age of 69 years. John was the Son of the late Lester Gay and Evelyn Ketchum and the Husband of Bertha Couch Gay. By occupation John was a Retired Sheet Metal Worker. John also served honorably in the U.S. Army. John was a resident of London, KY. for the past 11 years coming from Grasslake, Michigan. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed four-wheeling and gun & knife trading. He was Preceded in Death by Parents: Lester Gay and Evelyn Ketchum Gay; Brother: Jimmy Gay. John leaves the following relatives surviving: Loving & Devoted Wife: Bertha Gay of London, KY.; Sons: Timothy John Gay & Amanda of Redford, Michigan, Jayme Lee Gay of Brownstown, Michigan, Denzel Scott & Jennie of London, KY. and Darrell Stephen of London, KY.; Brother: William Gay & Susie of Florida; Sisters: Martha Chism of Michigan and Bonnie DeHart & Michael of Somerset, KY.; 7 Grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Adam John Gay will be conducted on Thursday ~ Nov. 8, 2012 at the Sizerock Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Wayne Bowling and Rev. Jessie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Gay Cemetery in Sizerock, KY. Full Military Rites will be performed by the Clay Co. DAV Chapter#137. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Timothy Gay, Scott Smith, Stephen Smith, Jayme Gay, Earl Smith, Danny Whitehead, John Fee and Randall Gay. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home and on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at the Sizerock Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Service.
