The Obituary for Eva Jean Howard Officiating Minister: Rev. John Baughman Eva Jean Howard was born on December 19,1936 at Warbranch, Kentucky the daughter of the late, Elijah & Mallie Brock. She departed this life in London, Kentucky at her residence on August 4, 2010 at the age of 73 years, 7 months & 16 days. Eva had been a resident of Laurel Co. for the past 14 years, and was a former resident of Leslie Co. By occupation she was a retired teacher having taught in Leslie Co. for 18 years & Harlan Co. for 15 years. She was a member of the Hart Baptist Church in London, Ky. & was also a member of the Ky. Retired Teachers Association. Eva Jean Howard was preceded in death by her parents, husband: U.S. Howard, son: Jeffery Wilson, brothers: Arch, Caudle & Earl Brock & sisters; Lucy Slusher, Paralee Brock & Katherine Sparks She leaves the following relatives surviving: sons: Randy Slusher & Lori of Maynardville, Tennessee & Michael C. Wilson of Knoxville, Tennessee, brothers: Dale Brock & Pauline, Frank Brock & Jane & Bige Brock & Rosie all of London, Ky. grandchildren: Jason Slusher, Darla Jackson & Jared Slusher great-grandchildren: Faith Slusher, Austin Slusher, Ethan Slusher, Isaac Slusher, Gage Jackson, Kylie Jackson & Tate Jackson & special friends: Greg, Page, Dillon, & Abby Lay, Barbara Hampton, Jean Collins, Katie Ayera, Larry & Lois Hoskins, Nona Benge, also a host of other treasured relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home on Saturday, August 7, 2010 @ 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Baughman officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery at Bledsoe, Ky., the following will serve as pallbearers: Kevin Brock, Brian Brock, Anthony Brock, Frank Brock, Terry Brock, Jason Slusher & Jared Slusher.
