The obituary of Mrs. Pearlie Fields Wells Officiating Ministers: Danny Day and Dr. Steve Clark Mrs. Pearlie Fields Wells born February 20, 1914 departed this life on November 12, 2009 at the age of 95 years. She was born at Daley, Kentucky the daughter of the late Kelly Fields and the late Rebecca Wells Fields. By occupation she was owner and operator of the Mountain Manor Restaurant located at Wooton, Kentucky. Mrs. Pearlie Wells was a member of the Smilax Church of Christ and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. She enjoyed working in her fruit orchard, gardening, crocheting afghans, canning, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends. Mrs. Pearlie Wells was preceded in death by her parents: Kelly and Rebecca Fields; Husband: Albert Wells; three daughters: Rebecca Turner, Sadie Morgan and Kathleen Wells; two brothers: Paul Fields, Enos Fields; two sisters: Lula Baker, Mary Ann Mitchell. She leaves surviving the following relatives: four sons: Albert Wells, Jr. & Ruth Wells of Hoskinston, KY, Paul Wells of Stanton, KY, David Wells & Connie of Hazard, KY, Donnie Wells & Angie of Wooton, KY; four daughters: Christine Bowling & Vernon of Connersville, IN, Lucy Doll & Walter of Milford, OH, Grace Hamilton of Hyden, KY and Marie Banks & Charles of Eubanks, KY; two sisters: Virginia Baker of Corbin, KY, Eva Jones of Indianapolis, IN. Pearlie is also survived by 28 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren along with other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Pearlie Fields Wells will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday - November 15, 2009 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Albert Wells Family Cemetery located at Smilax, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. Friends may call for visitation after 5:00 p.m. Saturday - November 14, 2009 at the funeral home chapel. The following will serve as pallbearers: Paul Wells, Jr., Robert Wells, D.J.
