He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County, the son of the late David Roberts and Fanny Pearl Davis Roberts. My occupation he was a coal miner, employed by Century Coal Company. One of his hobbies included four-wheeler riding. He was preceded in death by his father: David Roberts; paternal grandparents: Corbin & Mavie Roberts. He leaves surviving the following relatives: his mother: Fanny Pearl Davis Roberts of Stinnett, KY; wife: Della Mae Brown Roberts of Stinnett, KY; one son: Charles Jason Collett of Stinnett, KY: one daughter: Jessica Nicole Roberts of Yeaddiss, KY: two sisters: Janice Roberts Estep of Essie, KY, and Serenia Roberts Asher of Essie, KY. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Joseph David Roberts will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church in Essie, KY. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008 at the church. Burial will take place at the Charlie Brown Cemetery in Stinnett, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home staff. The following will serve as pallbearers for Mr. Joseph Roberts: O.J.
