The obituary of Mr. Thomas A. Morgan Officiating Minister: Rev. James Bowling, Jr. Mr. Thomas A. Morgan born December 10, 1934 departed this life on October 19, 2010 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. He was 75 years old. He was born at Stinnett, Kentucky the son of the late Robert Morgan and the late Sally Morgan. Thomas A. was a retired Insurance Salesman having been an agent for Lincoln Life Insurance Co. He also worked as a Librarian and drove one of the first Book Mobiles in Leslie Co. Mr. Thomas A. Morgan was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church and founded the Young Peoples Sunday School program. Mr. Thomas A. Morgan was very gifted musician & singer and used this talent to evangelize on countless occasions. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as hobbies. Mr. Thomas A. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Sally Morgan, two sisters: Eunice Collett and Zilpha Baker. He leaves surviving the following relatives: loving and devoted wife : Edith Napier Morgan of Stinnett, KY, one son: Marvin Rodell Morgan and Fiance Sarah Brock Morgan both of Stinnett, KY, two daughters: Rhonda Kay Morgan of Warbranch, Ky, Tammy Morgan & Doug of Stinnett, KY, four brothers: Rubble Morgan & Wanda of Stinnett, KY, James Morgan of Stinnett, KY, Larry Morgan & Loretta of Hyden, KY, Roger Morgan & Betty of Stinnett, KY, eight sisters: Marlene Napier & Curtis of Essie, KY, Anette Smith & Everett of East Bernstadt, KY, Velma Jean Bowling of Stinnett, KY, Violet Smith & Lonnie of Roark, KY, Merinda Garrison & Ronald of Essie, KY, Linda Roberts & Jr. of Ohio, Lois Roberts & Joey of Stinnett, KY, Polly Howard & Toleman of Stinnett, KY, four grandchildren: Daniel Morgan, Adria Morgan, Clinton James Morgan and Madison K. Morgan. Mr. Thomas A. Morgan is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Thomas A. Morgan will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday-October 22, 2010 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY, with Rev. James Bowling, Jr. officiating. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Eddie D. Smith, Rodney Osborne, Dwayne Collett, Lonnie Hoskins, Jordan Morgan, Nico Lewis and Bryan Collett. The interment will follow in the Napier Family Cemetery at Bowens Creek, Essie, KY. Full military rites will be observed by the Leslie Co. D.A.V. Chapter # 133.
