Amos Hamblin Maxwell Griffin Maggard was born May 7, 2009 and departed this life on January 5, 2010 at the age of 7 months and 29 days old. He was born at Lexington, Kentucky the son of Michael Keith Maggard and Francesca Lewis Maggard. Maxwell was affiliated with the McIntosh Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather Roger Lewis; Maternal Great Grandfather: John M. Lewis; Paternal Great Grandparents: George & Martha Melton, Reuben & Maude Maggard; One Uncle: Nicholas Alexander Lewis. He leaves surviving the following relatives: his parents: Michael & Francesca Maggard of Lexington, Ky.; one sister: Micah Rhiannon Maggard of Lexington, KY.; Maternal Grandparents: Carol Lewis Joseph & William Peyton Joseph of Hyden, KY.; Paternal Grandparents: David Maggard & Lois Melton Maggard of Wooton, KY.; Maternal Great Grandmother: Bernice Lewis of Hyden, KY.; Maternal Great Grandparents; Andy & Mary Graham of Campton, KY.; Very Special Uncle: Reuben Kyle Maggard of Lexington, KY.; Very Special Aunt: Danielle Renee Lewis and son Wyatt Roger Lewis Thomas both of Hyden, KY. Maxwell is also survived by a host of treasured family and friends. The funeral services for Maxwell Maggard will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church in Hyden, KY. The visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the church. Burial will take place at the Roberts Family Cemetery in (Owl's Nest) Hyden, KY.
