Clemmie Joseph & Kermit Creech Mrs Susan Boggs Adams born October 8, 1915 departed this life on June 07, 2008 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. She was 92 years, 7 months, & 29 days old. Susan was born at Big Fork, Ky., the daughter of the late John L Boggs & Kate Williams. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Big Fork Church of God. Susan professed her faith as a Christian in 1945. Susan was preceded in death by her parents: John L. Boggs and Kate Williams Boggs, husband: Ben Adams, two sons: Wade & Jimmy Adams, three brothers: Boyd, Nick, & Levi Boggs, & one sister: Margaret Williams. Mrs. Susan Boggs Adams leaves the following relatives surviving: two daughters: Alice Turner & husband, Winfred of Yeaddiss, Ky., Annalee Caldwell of Yeaddiss, Ky., one daughter-in-law: Judy Adams of Yeaddiss, Ky., nine grandchildren: Hurlen Smith, Judy Conner, Joyce Lewis, Willa Burnett, Donna Wells, Jackie Caldwell, Jimmy Lynn Adams, Tommy Adams, Hurlen Lee Adams, eleven great grandchildren, five great, great, grandchildren, & host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn her death. The funeral service for Mrs. Susan Boggs Adams (Big Mommy) will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Monday - June 9, 2008 at the Big Fork Church of God with Rev. Clemmie Joseph and Rev. Kermit Creech officiating. The interment will follow in the Jimmy Adams Family Cemetery, Yeaddiss, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
