The Obituary for Polly Ellen Cumbo Polly Ellen Cumbo was born on September 30, 1970 in Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Jr. Harrod & Mazie Shepherd. She passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. at the age of 42 years, 8 months & 21 days. Polly spent her formative years in Leslie Co. & had been a resident of Leslie Co. for the past 6 years. She had previously resided in Florida for six years. Polly Ellen was awarded a two vocational technology degree. She was affliated with the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, KY. She enjoyed 4-wheeling, gardening, flowers, being outdoors & spending time with her family. Polly Ellen Cumbo was preceded in death by her parents, Jr. Harrod & Mazie Shepherd, Grandmother, Polly Coots, Brother, Mike Coots, Brother-in-law, Rocky Couch & special friend, Sue Adams She leaves the following relatives surviving, her husband, Ronald Dean Cumbo, Yeaddiss, KY.,one son, Nicholas Lewis & Danielle, Yeaddiss, KY., one daughter, Felicia Kaye Lewis & Warner Day, Wooton, Ky., two brothers, Kermit Shepherd, Leatherwood, KY. & Abe Coots, Florida, one sister, Betty Couch, Leatherwood, KY., four grandchildren, Shiane Lewis, Colton Nicholas Lewis & Brayden Day & Kiyah Day, special friends, Donna Sue Wells & Janet Adams & a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Polly Ellen Cumbo will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday-June 25, 2013 at the Church of the Lord Jesus Chirst with Rev. Don Kilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Coots Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 p.m. Monday- June 24, 2013 at the church.
