Kevin Napier and Others Mrs. Jessie Marie Couch born April 6, 1942 departed this life on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center. She was 68 years old. Jessie was born at Thousandsticks, Ky., the daughter of the late Ray R. Couch & Georgia Sizemore Couch. Jessie was employed by Mary Breckinridge Hospital, Hyden, Ky., in the housekeeping department. She was a member of the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky. & was a life-long resident of Leslie County residing at 81 Turkey Foot Trail, Bear Branch, Ky., at the time of her death. Jessie was a "Jill" of all trades, however her greatest joy came from being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Jessie Marie Couch was preceded in death by her parents: Ray R. Couch & Georgia Sizemore Couch, one daughter, Deborah Ann Couch, one grandson: Jesse Euland Ray, four brothers: Cornelius, Marcus, Roy, & Oakley, and one sister, Daisy. Mrs. Jessie Marie Couch leaves the following relatives surviving: her loving and devoted husband: Homer "Pujoe" Couch of Bear Branch, Ky., two sons: Jeffery Couch and wife, Michelle of Elkhorn Creek, Ky., Eddie Carl " Toot" Couch and wife, Tammy of Bear Branch, Ky., four brothers: Bobby Couch and wife, Carol, of Norwood, Ohio, Manuel Couch and wife, Rachel, of Glendale, Ohio, Ed Ray Couch and wife, Rosalee of Bear Branch, Ky., Vernon Couch and wife, Rosetta, of Stinnett, Ky., five sisters: Nettie Couch of Bear Branch, Ky., Ethel Couch of Bear Branch, Ky., Manella Couch of Erlanger, Ky., Christine Gambrel and husband, Jodi, of Burlington, Ky., Margie Browning and husband, Doug, of Taylor Mill, Ky., three grandchildren: Andrew Couch & Brittneiy, Amanda Couch & Jordan Couch, one great grandchild: Brailyn, one special nephew: Joey Browning & Tina, & a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Jessie Marie Couch will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday - June 29, 2010 at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky., with Rev. Wayne Bowling, Rev. Bobby Wayne Couch, Rev. Teddy Couch, & Rev. Kevin Napier officiating. The interment will follow in the Jack Napier Cemetery, Thousandsticks, Ky. under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. Friends may call for visitation after 6:00 p.m. - Sunday- June 27, 2010, all day Monday - June 28, 2010, until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday - June 29, 2010, all at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky.
