Dexie was the daughter of the late Maynard Garrison & Martha Roberts Garrison. She was a life-long resident of Leslie County. Evelyn was a member of the Essie Missionary Alliance Church in Essie, Ky. and enjoyed being involved with her nieces & nephews. Evelyn Dixie Garrison was preceded in death by her parents: Maynard & Martha Garrison;, 3 brothers: Afton Garrison, Dwight Garrison & Marcus Garrison & brother-in-law: Jim Feltner. She leaves the following relatives surviving: her loving and devoted sister: Leola Garrison Feltner of Hyden, Ky. and Leola's closest friend: Lisa Sizemore and husband Denver & son Dean of Hyden, Ky., sister-in-laws: Oultia Garrison of Stinnett, Ky., Eunice Garrison of Stinnett, Ky. & Lola Grace Garrison of London, Ky. Special nephews: Wayne Garrison & wife, Lois, & Mike Feltner. A host of treasured nieces & nephews also survive. FUNERAL SERVICE: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2013 - 2:00 P.M.
