Rebecca was born at Hyden, Ky., the daughter of Pearlie Fields Wells & the late Albert Wells. Rebecca was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by occupation she was a retired school teacher. Rebecca was a member of the Smilax Church of Christ at Smilax, KY., she enjoyed gardening, flower gardening & her dog (Chico). Rebecca Jane Wells Turner was preceded in death by:her father, Albert Wells, her husband, Henry Turner & 1 sister, Kathlene Wells. She leaves the following relatives surviving: her mother, Pearlie Fields Wells of Smilax, Ky., 3 sons, Henry Harold Turner & Lein of Smilax, Ky., Larry Gene Turner of Smilax, Ky. & Enos Turner & Lola of Wooton, KY., 4 brothers: David Wells & Connie of Hazard, Ky., Donnie Wells & Angie of Wooton, KY., Paul Steven Wells & special friend,Megan of Powell Co. & Albert Wells, Jr. & Ruth of Hoskinston, KY., 5 sisters: Marie Banks & Charles of Eubanks, Ky, Grace Hamilton of Hyden, Ky., Lucy Doll & Walter of Milford, Ohio, Christine Bowling & Vernon of Connersville, Ind. & Sadie Morgan & Bob of Smilax, Ky., 7 grandchildren: Larry Justin Turner, Jason Kyle Turner, Harold Douglas Turner & Judy, Jonathan Kelly Turner, Shawn Allen Turner, Rebecca Carol Turner & Denia Renea Turner & 2 great-grandchildren: Brianna Brooklyn Turner & Nathan Pratersang & a host of nieces & nephews. Funeral service for Rebecca Jane Wells Turner will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky., on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Smilax Church of Christ, Smilax, Ky., with Sam Beloe, Danny Day & Ministers of the Smilax Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in the Albert Wells Family Cemetery at Smilax, Ky., with the following serving as pallbearers: Larry Justin Turner, Jason Kyle Turner, Harold Douglas Turner, Jonathan Kelly Turner & Shawn Allen Turner.
