The Obituary of Mr. Lawrence "Radar" Bowling Officiating Ministers: Rev. Eddie Dean Hoskins Ronnie Turner Mr. Lawrence Bowling born May 26, 1930 departed this life on September 3, 2008 at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 8 days old. He was born at Hector, Kentucky the son of the late Ballard Bowling and the late Malvie Bowling. By occupation he was a retired maintenance worker having worker for the Frontier Nursing Services for over 50 years. He had been affiliated with the Full Gospel Church at Warbranch, Kentucky. Lawrence was a life-long resident of Clay Co, living at Big Creek, Ky., at the time of his death. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents: Ballard Bowling & Malvie Bowling, two sons: Randy & Willie, & one daughter, Faye. Mr. Lawrence "Radar" Bowling leaves the following relatives surviving: three sons: Lester Bowling and wife, Kim, of Tennessee, Ralph Bowling of Clay Co. Ky., Gary Bowling & wife, Connie, of Bear Branch, Ky., two daughters: Bonnie Collins of Bear Branch, Ky., Nancy Boles of Ohio, a host of grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, special friends: Ronnie & Judy Turner, Pauline Conley, Joey Lewis, & Kim & Marlene Couch, and a host of other treasured relatives and friend. The funeral service for Mr. Lawrence Bowling will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Saturday - September 06, 2008, at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, Ky. with Rev. Eddie Dean Hoskins & Ronnie Turner officiating. The interment will follow in the Hoskins Cemetery, Double Creek, Peabody, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. The following will serve as pallbearers: Roger Combs, Chris Perry, Gary Bowling, Joey Lewis, Brandon Collins and Lowell Thomas, Jr..
