Clemmie Joseph Lawrence Jr. Joseph born Oct. 22, 1944 departed this life on April 3, 2008 at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 12 days old. He was born at Yeaddiss, Kentucky the son of late Giles Joseph and Martha Griffith Maggard. By occupation Lawrence was a disabled coal miner and had been a resident of Letcher County for the past 20 years, residing at Jenkins, Kentucky. Lawrence was affiliated with the Church of God and enjoyed hunting as a hobby. He was preceded in death by his father: Giles Joseph; one sister: Marie Regina and one brother-in-law Edward Rucinski. He leaves surviving the following relatives Mother: Martha Griffith Maggard of Hyden, KY. Three Brothers: Reason Joseph & Mae of Yeaddiss, KY. Giles Joseph, Jr. & Eileen of Somerset, KY. Eddie Lee Joseph of East Bernstadt KY. Three Sisters: Matilda Rucinski of Indian Rocks Beach, FL. Christine Joseph of Hyden, Ky. Carolyn Wells & Roger of Hazard, KY. Also survived by a host of treasured nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Jr. Joseph will be held at 11:00 a.m. - Monday - April 7, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Hyden, KY., with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis and Rev. Clemmie Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Joseph Family Cemetery located at Yeaddiss, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
