Brock born February 16, 1952 departed this life on July 30, 2009 at the age of 57 years. He was born at Beverly, Kentucky the son of the late John Berry Brock and the late Lillie Asher Brock. By occupation Kenneth was retired from Nally Hamilton strip mining, Steel Plant Supervisor in Chicago, IL and was owner and operator of Brock's Smoke Break. Kenneth enjoyed restoring and repairing old cars, and was an avid U.K. basketball fan. He was affiliated with the New Harvest Church in London, Kentucky. Mr. Kenneth J. Brock was preceded in death by his parents: John & Lillie Brock; three sisters: Sarah Ellen Brock, Edna Brock Wilder, and Ethel Brock Caldwell; one brother: Will C. Brock. He leaves surviving the following relatives: his wife: Jennifer Wilson Brock of London, KY; one daughter: Rhonda Brock Whitehead & Lester of London, KY;one son: Kendal Lee Brock & Chassidy of Asher, KY; two brothers: Farmer Brock & Roberta of Helton, KY; Charlie Brock & Irene of Beverly, KY; five sisters: Hazel Brock Robinson & Harold of Helton, KY, Belle Brock & Brach of Helton, KY, Roberta Brock Jackson & Johnny of London, KY, Nannie Brock & Moses of Helton, KY, Francis Lewis & Nathan of Minnesota; five grandchildren: Anthony John Miniard, McKenzie Brock, Kendal Ralph Brock, Jennifer Celeste Whitehead, and Kendra Faith Whitehead. He is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth J. Brock will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday - August 3, 2009 at the Dry Fork Holiness Church at Helton, KY with Rev. Reed Brock, Rev. Vernon Wilson, Rev. Camie "Bo" Caldwell, Rev. Roscoe Asher and Rev. Bill Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery located at Sam's Branch, Asher, KY. under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 p.m. - Sunday- August 2, 2009 at the Dry Fork Holiness Church, Helton, Ky.
