Teddy Collett Mrs. Sadie Roark born January 19, 1918 departed this life on April 17, 2010 in Somerset, Ky. at the age of 92 years, 2 months, & 28 days old. Sadie was born at Roark, Ky., the daughter of the late Jonathan Roark & Bertha Collett Roark. Sadie lived most of her life at Warbranch, Ky. & had been a resident of Eubank, Ky., for a short period of time. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Warbranch, Ky., & enjoyed quilting & canning as hobbies. Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, her loving and devoted husband: Jess Roark, two sons: Gabbard Roark & J. C. Roark, one granddaughter: Judy, & and one grandson: J.C. Mrs. Sadie Roark leaves the following relatives surviving: two sons: Cecil Roark & wife, Geraldine of Eubank, Ky., Ernie Roark of London, Ky., one daughter: Bertha Randolph & husband, Carl, of Parsons, Tennessee, two brothers: Carl Roark of London, Ky., Tom Roark of London, Ky., three sisters: China Branson of London, Ky., Hazel Collett Slusher of Beverly, Ky., & Mossie Nolan of London, Ky; grandchildren: Dianna Blakenship, Herman Brock, Debbie Brock, Jackie Roark, Jean Roark, Sonny Roark, Ernie Roark, Jr., Wesley Roark, Kristy Roark, Robert Roark and Cornelius Roark and 14 great grandchildren. A host of other treasured relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Sadie Roark will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Monday - April 19, 2010, at the New Hope Community Church, Warbranch, Ky.,with Rev. Teddy Collett & Rev. Dwight Brock officiating. The interment will follow in the Brock Family Cemetery located on Rye Cove, Warbranch, Ky., Friends may call for visitation after 5:00 P.M. - Sunday- April 18, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky. and from 12 Noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M.
