The Obituary of Paul "Banty Rooster" Couch Officiating Ministers: Rev. Ryan Osborne, Rev. Teddy Couch, Rev. Bobby W. Couch, Rev. Jerry Couch Mr. Paul Couch born December 27, 1933 departed this life on September 17, 2008. He was 74 years, 8 months, and 21 days old. Paul was born at Bear Branch, Ky., the son of the late Cooney & Stella Couch. He was a retired coal truck driver & was affiliated with the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky. Paul was an avid coon hunter, & enjoyed dog trading, camping, blue-grass music, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren as hobbies. Paul was preceded in death by his parents: Cooney & Stella Couch, two brothers: Alonzo & Arvil Couch, & three sisters: Maltie Couch, Mandy Bowling, & Mae Couch. Mr. Paul Couch leaves the following relatives surviving: his wife of 55 years, Ethel Couch of Bear Branch, Ky., one son: Vernon Couch & wife, Rosetta of Stinnett, Ky., Ky.,one step-son: Larry Woods of Nashville, Tennessee, one grandson he raised as his own: Bill "Bubba Man" Foster of Bear Branch, Ky., three daughters: Carolyn Jones and husband, Elmo, of Bear Branch, Ky., Connie Bowling and husband, Gary, of Bear Branch, Ky., Regina Begley & husband, Darrius of Annville, Ky., one brother: R.B. Couch and wife, Jessie, of Bear Branch, Ky., two sisters: Mary Holland and husband, Golden, of Bear Branch, Ky., Mollie Ledger of Dayton, Ky., 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn his death. The funeral service for Mr. Paul Couch will be conducted at 2:00 P.M.- Sunday - September 21, 2008, at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky., with Rev. Ryan Osborne, Rev. Teddy Couch, Rev. Bobby W. Couch, Rev. Jerry Couch officiating. The interment will follow in the Couch's Fork Cemetery located at Bear Branch, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. Friends may call for visitation after 6:00 p.m,. Friday, at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky., all day Saturday, and until funeral time at 2:00 p.m.- Sunday all at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Ky. The following will serve as pallbearers: Donnie "Pepsi Cola" Couch, Greg Chedester, Blake McWhorter, Eric Allen, Eddie "Toot" Couch, Jeff "Buddy Cat" Couch, Andrew Couch, Scott Sutton, Wayne Gilbert, & Shawn Wilson.
