James Garrett Nora Roberts Collett was born on October 29, 1925, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, Ky. at the age of 83 years, 8 months & 10 days. Nora was born at Stinnett, Ky., the daughter of the late Burley Roberts & Goldie Smith Roberts. She was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. she was a homemaker, she was affliated with the Muncys Holiness Church & Stinnett Gap Church of God, she enjoyed gardening, flowers & fishing. Nora Roberts Collett was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Virgil Collett & brothers: Homer "Jap", Henry & Ronald. She leaves the following relatives surviving: sons: Harold Collett & Maggie of Hyden, Ky., Ricky Collett & Carol Etta of Hyden, Ky. & Jeremy Livingston of Stinnett, KY.,daughters: Patsy Sue Schuering & Tony of Jabez, KY. & Kathy Lynn Barrett & J.C. of Stinnett, ky., brothers: Earl Roberts of Stinnett, Ky., Clayborne Roberts of Ohio & Donald Ray Roberts of Stinnett, Ky., sisters: June Hoskins of Stinnett, Ky. & Geneva Garrett of Ohio, 6 grandchildren: Robin, Tony, Jason, Ricky Darrell, Danielle & Jeremiah, 7 great-grandchildren: Robin, Casey, Shelby Ann, Chelsie, Jacob, Luke & Ella Nicole & special friends: Earl Anthony "Bubby" Roberts & J.C. Barrett. Funeral service for Nora Roberts Collett will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky., on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Gap Church of God, Stinnett,KY., with Rev. Chad Hensley, Rev. Eugene Roberts, Rev. Geoffery Roberts & Rev. James Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Collett family Cemetery at Stinnett, KY., Visitation will be on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at the Church.
