Jose L. Guerrero

The obituary of Mr. Jose "Joe" L. Guerrero. Mr. Jose "Joe" Guerrero was born on December 13, 1935 and departed this life on June 10, 2008 at the age of 72 years, 6 months, and 3 days. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, however spent most of his life in Land By the Sea, Florida. The son of Joaquin Guerrero and Adela Saborido. By occupation he was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Board of Realtors. He was also the founder and former chairman of the Board's "Love for Little Children" campaign. He was recently appointed to chair a local planning committee in Lauderdale-by-the-sea. He also owned and operated a string of companies, ranging from an electrical company to cargo airlines. For his hobbies he attended the Living Waters Christian Community Church and was ordained as a lifetime Deacon at West Lauderdale Baptist Church. He leaves surviving the following relatives: wife: wife: Wilma Jean "Jeanne" Holt Guerrero, son: Lucio; daughters: Claudia Dalajka & Radek, Deanna Bolanda & Frankie; niece: Jennifer Tansini & Peter; grandchildren: Joshua Katz, David Nassivera Jr., and Isabella Moorman. Funeral services for Mr. Jose "Joe" L. Guerrero will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home.The interment will follow in the Hacker Family Cemetery located at Stinnett, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
