Collett was preceded in death by her parents: Burley & Rose Sizemore, her husband: A.C. Collett, 1 grandson: Jamie & 1 sister: Gail Asher. She leaves the following relatives surviving: 3 sons: Larry Collett & Brenda of Essie, Ky., Rondal Collett & Brenda of Roark, Ky. & Burgie Collett of Essie, Ky. 2 daughters: Sherlene Smith & David of Essie, Ky. & Rita Collett of Roark, Ky. 4 brothers: Camie Sizemore of London, Ky., Wiley Sizemore of Michigan, Virgil Sizemore of Annville, Ky. & Grant Sizemore of Michigan, 2 sisters: Amelia Young of Tyner, Ky & Janet Slusher of Roark, Ky. 12 grandchildren & 22 great-grandhchildren. Funeral service for Virginia L. Collett will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky., on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bowens Creek Baptist Church at Essie, Ky., with Leroy Blackburn, Sheldon Collett, Dan Griffith, Ralph Brown & James Bowling, Jr. officiating.
