Billy Joe Lewis Mr. Clyde Hunt, Jr. born September 12, 1926 departed this life on March 14, 2009 at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 2 days old. He was born at Truman, Arkansas the son of the late Clyde Hunt, Sr. and the late Mary L. Crawford Hunt. By occupation he was a retired from the Ford Motor Company and worked in the Transmission Dept. Clyde was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the United Auto Workers and he enjoyed baseball. Mr. Clyde Hunt, Jr. was affiliated with the Brightmore Tabernacle Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Mary Hunt, Sr.; Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law: Noah and Cora Cornett Begley; four brothers: Dalton, Norman, James Edward and Tillman Earl; one sister: Elizabeth. He leaves surviving the following relatives: wife: Ruth Begley Hunt of Livonia, MI; daughter: Gwen Walther & Dennis Sr. of Shepherd, MI; two daughters by previous marriage: Sharron Brady & Charles of MI and Susan Crisp of Taylor, MI. one brother: Rev. David Hunt & Margie of GA, three sisters: Thelma Cooper & Ronald of CA, Helen Jacobs & Dan of CA and Doris Price of MI, also survived by 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Hunt, Jr. will be held at 12:00 Noon-Thursday -March 19, 2009 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will take place at the John R. Hendrix Cemetery at Wooton, KY. with Christopher Hunt, Robert Cornett serving as pallbearers. Military Rites will be observed by the Leslie County DAV Chapter #133. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday - March 18, 2009 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel at Hyden, KY.
