The obituary of Mrs. Lillian Marie Bowling Officiating Ministers: Rev. James Bowling, Jr. and Keith Bowling Mrs. Lillian Marie Bowling born June 2, 1933 departed this life on May 7, 2008 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 5 days old. She was born at Stinnett, Kentucky the daughter of the late Hampton Fields and the late Laura Smith Fields. By occupation she was employed in the construction business and had been a resident of Dayton, Ohio for the past 25 years. Mrs. Lillian Bowling was a member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church. She expressed her faith by making her home available to the homeless and feeding and housing them. Lillian was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, some of her hobbies included flowers, pictures of her family, albums and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Bowling; son: Timothy Gene Bowling; great grandchild: Ethan Caldwell. Lillian leaves surviving the following relatives: Five Sons: Jimmy Bowling & Jackie of Kettering, OH, Harold Bowling & Pamella of Moraine, OH, David Bowling & Zelma of Hyden, KY, Roger Anthony Bowling of Dayton, OH, Anthony Bowling of Dayton, OH, three daughters: Wanda Collett & James of Somerset, KY, Pauline Disbennett & Kenneth of Columbus, OH, Brenda Middleton & Terry of Dayton, OH, one sister: Delia Bowling of Dayton, OH also survived by 22 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Marie Bowling will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday- May 10, 2008 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY with Rev. James Bowling, Jr. and Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowens Creek Cemetery at Essie, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
