By occupation He was a Surface CoalMiner, He was affliated with the Dryfork Holiness Church at Helton, KY.Eugene enjoyed fishing, hunting & gardening. Eugene was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Daughter: Tammy Louise Asher, 2 Brothers: Frances Arthur Asher & Tom J. Asher, 1 Sister: Myrtle Egan & a host of Half-Brothers & Sisters. He leaves the following relatives surviving: His Wife: Stella Asher of Helton, Ky., 2 Sons: Troy Asher & Wife, Amy of Roark, Ky.& Curtis W. Asher & Angie of Stoney Fork, Ky., 7 Grandchildren: Troy Brandon, Morgan, Maci, Megan, Chris, Neil & Tammy B., 3 Brothers: Leemon Asher & Joyce of Bledsoe, Ky., Roscoe Asher & Etta of Bledsoe, Ky. & Earl Dean Asher & Sheila of Helton, KY., 2 Sisters: Margie Brock of Manchester, KY & Carrie Byars & Guy of Union City, Tennessee & 2 Sister-In-Laws: Frankie Asher of Bledsoe, Ky. & Eunice Brock of Helton, Ky.A Special Great-Nephew: Shelby David Brock, Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral Service for Eugene Asher will be conducted on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dry Fork Holiness Church, Helton, KY., with Clifford Hoskins, Roscoe Asher, Cammie Bo Caldwell & Joe Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in the Honey Branch Cemetery at Helton, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Curtis Asher, Troy Asher, Troy Brandon Asher, Shelby David Brock, Kevin Smallwood, Dwight Brock, Bruce Slusher, Neil Short, Franklin Phipps & Dwayne Brock.
