The obituary of Mr. Carlos Coots Officiating Ministers: Larry Hendrix and Tim Morris Mr. Carlos Coots born October 20, 1947 departed this life on April 17, 2009 at the age of 61 years, Months and days old. he was born at Yeaddiss, Kentucky the son of the late Tinsley Coots and the late Taffie Shell Coots. By occupation he was a retired coal miner and had been employed by Leeco and James River Coal Co. Carlos was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed old autos. He was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church at Little Willard. He was preceded in death by hos parents: Tinsley & Taffie Coots; one son: Paul Miniard; one granddaughter: Brooklyn Renee Miniard; two brothers: Denver Coots and James Coots. He leaves surviving the following relatives: wife; Marcella M. Coots of Speedwell, TN, two sons: David Miniard & Angie of Wooton, KY, Carlos Dean Coots, Jr. & Debbie Lee of Arthur, TN, four daughters: Eunice Ann Wolfenbarger of Speedwell, TN, Carla Ann Turner & Daryl of Yeaddiss, KY, Patsy Ann Cornett & Milford of Yeaddiss, KY, Vanessa Renee Cornett & Wilson Cornett, Jr. of Yeaddiss, Ky, two brothers: Columbus Coots & Mollie of Wooton, KY, Don Coots of Wooton, KY, four sisters: Athaleen Smith of Middleboro, KY, Hattie Asher of Wooton, Ky, Dorothy Knight of Hazard, KY, Edith Baker & Bertis of Krypton, KY, seven grandchildren: Samantha Cornett, Katrina Coots, Marcus Dean Coots, Sabrina Howard, Shannon Shepard, Brandon Wesley Turner and Jerald Shane Miniard. Carlos is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Carlos Coots will be held at 2:00 p.m. -Tuesday- April 21, 2009 at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ with Larry Hendrix and Tim Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Cemetery under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. The following will serve as pallbearers: Carlos Dean Coots, Jr., Marcus Dean Coots, Brandon Turner, Jerald Shane Miniard, Steven North and Christopher Lewis.
