The obituary of Mr. Flint Watts, Jr. Officiating Minister: Rev. Terry Joseph Mr. Flint Watts, Jr. born February 16, 1958 departed this life on November 7, 2009 at the age of 51 years. He was born at Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Flint & Maudie Woods Watts Sr.. By occupation he was a retired coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Mr. Flint Watts, Jr. was affiliated with the Church of God. He enjoyed deer, racoon, and squirrel hunting, but he especially enjoyed being involved in the lives of his grandchildren. Mr. Flint Watts, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Juanita Holland; brother: Kelly Watts; one niece: Vicki Dunigan. He leaves surviving the following relatives: Mother of Children: Denise Whitaker Watts Mitchell of London, KY; one son: Jason Watts & Shelley of Wooton, KY; one daughter: Bethanie Cherra Watts of Hazard, KY; five individuals that he raised as his own: Shane Rector, Shauna Rector, Jettie Begley, Kenya Robinson and Betty Davis Lewis; five brothers: Danny Watts and Carol of Bulan, KY, Johnny Watts and Vonda of Fourseam, KY, Jack Watts of Hazard, KY, Pearl Watts and Sandy of Fourseam, KY, Richard Riley and Crystal of Fourseam, KY; five sisters: Wanda Beglay and Ray of Isom, KY, Ida Johnson of Fourseams, KY, Aretha Proffitt and L.J. of Isom, KY, Lucy Watts of Hazard, Ky, Shelvia Russell of Fourseams, KY; sister-in-law: Lula Bell Watts, nine grandchildren: Zachary Felix Watts, Bryce Kaleb Howard, Victoria Paige Watts, Cassidy Breann Watts, Kaden Blake Watts, Jayleigh Kiersten Watts, Izzabella Adasyn Raye Smith, Madison Brooke Lewis and Kayleigh Jade Oakes. Mr. Flint Watts, Jr. also leaves surviving a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Flint Watts, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. - Thursday - November 12, 2009 at the Engle-Walker Perry Chapel at 320 Morton Blvd. , Hazard, KY, with Rev. Terry Joseph officiating.
