She passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at her residence at the age of 86 years, 2 months & 20 days. Evelyn was a life-long residence of Perry Co. She was a homemaker & was an avid U.K. basketball fan, enjoyed gospel music & watching game shows. Evelyn Hoskins North was preceded in death by her parents: Will & Lillie Campbell Hoskins, husband: Rex North, one son: Leslie North, daughter-in-law: Connie North, son-in-law: R.C. Fields, two sisters: Elizabeth Clark & Sarah Jane Hoskins & one brother: James Hoskins She leaves the following relatives surviving: one son: Rex North, Jr., Germantown, KY., three daughters: Barbara Fields, Busy, Ky., Virginia Simpson, Dayton, Ohio & Helen Couch & Tad, Centre, Alabama, one brother: Wheeler Hoskins, Dayton, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.
