Billy Joe Lewis Mrs. Bonnie Jean Carroll was born on September 18, 1955 in Hyden,Ky., the daughter of Laura Joseph Boggs & the late Lester Birchfield, Bonnie passed away at her residence on Monday,January 18, 2010 at the age of 54 years & 4 months old. Bonnie was a life-long residence of Leslie Co. at her passing residing at 1280 Persimmon Fork Rd. at Yeaddiss, KY. By occupation Bonnie was a retired LPN for the Leslie Co. Health Center, Manchester Memorial Hospital & the Mary Breckinridge Hospital. She was affliated with the Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting & being involved in the center of her children & grandchildrens lives. Bonnie Jean Carroll was preceded in death by her Father: Lester Birchfield, Brother: Buck Birchfield & Step-Father: Ben Boggs She leaves the following relatives surviving: Her Mother: Laura Boggs of Yeaddiss, KY., Husband: Harold Carroll of Yeaddiss, KY., Sons: Ishmael Carroll & Chasity of Yeaddiss, KY. & Christopher Jason Carroll & Sherry of Yeaddiss, KY., Brother: Benny Wayne Boggs & Melissa of Yeaddiss, KY., Sisters: Kathy Joseph & Glen of Yeaddiss, Ky. & Lisa Pennington & Victor of Yeaddiss, KY. & Grandchildren: Destiny Carroll, Julia Carroll, William Baker & Cody Sizemore. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral Service for Bonnie Jean Carroll will be conducted on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Persimmon Fork Church of God in Jesus Name at Yeaddiss, Ky. with Wornie Baker & Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Ishmael Baker Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. at the Church. The following will serve as pallbearers: Scott Cornett, Glen Boggs, Ricky Harris, Doug Harris, Victor Pennington, & Ronnie Pennington.
