The obituary for Mr. Denver Morgan Officiating Minister: Rev. Logan Roberts Mr. Denver Morgan was born on September 5, 1920 and departed this life on January 17, 2010 at the age of 89 years. He was born at Stinnett, KY. and a lifelong resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in Illinois for one year. He was the son of the late George Morgan and the late Elizabeth Melton Morgan. Denver served in World War II. By occupation Denver was retired having worked in the plastic factory production and in the coal mines. He was affiliated with the Stinnett Gap Church of God. Mr. Denver Morgan was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Chris Pennington; four sisters: Doris Patton, Connie Watley, Helen Kennel and Geneva Simpson; and one brother: Chris Morgan. He leaves the following relatives surviving: two brothers: Bailey Morgan & Eva of Stinnett, KY. and Bastin Morgan of Somerset, KY.; two sisters: Ann Kasab of White Lake, MI. and Marie Franco of Royal Oak, MI; one grandson: Brian Pennington. The funeral service for Mr. Denver Morgan will be conducted on Wednesday - January 20, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, with Rev. Logan Roberts officiating. The interment will follow in the Hardy Bottom Cemetery, Stinnett, Ky., with full military rites observed by the Leslie Co. D.A.V. Chapter # 133. Friends may call for visitation after 6:00 P.M.
