The obituary of Mr. Felix Pennington, Jr. Officiating Minister: Tim Shepherd Mr. Felix Pennington, Jr. born November 29, 1946 departed this life on October 1, 2010 at the Mount Sterling St. Joseph Hospital. He was 63 years old. Felix was born at Wooton, Kentucky the son of the late Felix Pennington, Sr. and the late Cora Browning Pennington. By occupation he was a retired coal miner and construction worker. Mr. Felix Pennington, Jr. was a member of the Church of Christ and had been a resident of Mt. Sterling, KY. for the past 17 years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Felix and Cora Pennington, three brothers: Jerry, Doug and Jack Pennington. He leaves surviving the following relatives: loving and devoted wife: Haddie Lewis Pennington of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sons: Larry Fields & Lisa of Winchester, KY, Danny Fields of Mt. Sterling, KY; two daughters; Sherry Smith & Mitchell of Winchester, KY, Renee Moberly & Glenn of Mt. Sterling, KY; two brothers: Eugene Pennington & Rhonda of Hyden, KY, Donnie Pennington of Texas; one sister: Patricia Hammons & Sammy of Berea, KY; three grandchildren; Brandon Smith, Jessica Fields and Dakota Moberly. Mr. Felix Pennington, Jr. is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Felix Pennington, Jr. will be conducted at 1 p.m.- Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Joseph Cemetery located at Middlefork (Masons Creek), KY. friends may call for visitation from 6-9 p.m., Monday - October 4, 2010 at the funeral home chapel.
