The obituary of Mr. Ruben Baker Officiating Minister: Karl Baker Mr. Ruben Baker born December 25, 1933 departed this life on January 21, 2010 at the Cardinal Hill Specialty Hospital Facility of St. Elizabeth Hospital, Fort Thomas, Ky. He was 76 years old. He was born at Cutshin, Kentucky the son of the late Grant Baker, Sr. and the late Rittie Caudill Baker. By occupation he was retired from the Neutone Factory in Cincinnati, Ohio having worked in their Built-In Appliance production. Ruben enjoyed fishing and hunting as hobbies and was affiliated with the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents: Grant Baker, Sr., and Rittie Caudill Baker, his loving and devoted wife: Elizabeth Meynor Baker, one daughter: Rita Baker, two brothers: Linz Baker and Happy Baker, one infant brother: Lonnie Baker, two sisters: Opal Farler and Ruby Wells. Ruben leaves surviving the following relatives: two sons: Mark Baker of Lexington, KY, Andrew Baker of Grant County, KY, one daughter: Yvonne Baker of Butler, KY, two Brothers: Watson Baker and Doshia of Demossville, KY, Grant Baker, Jr. of Cutshin, KY, two sisters: Mary Belle Jones and Clarence of Cutshin, KY and Geneva Wilson & Kenny of London, KY, six grandchildren: Sam Lucas, Zachary Smith, Angel Lucas, Lily Baker, Levi Baker and Gracie Baker. Mr. Ruben Baker is also survived by a host of other treasured family and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Ruben Baker will be at 1:00 P.M. - Sunday - January 24, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Karl Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Eli Baker Family Cemetery located at Cutshin (Mouth of Beatty), Kentucky.
