The Obituary of Mr. John Henry Leddington Officiating Ministers Rev. Chad Hensley Rev. Willie Garrett Morgan Mr. John Henry Leddington born August 17, 1950 departed this life on March 8, 2008 at the age of 57 years, 6 months and 20 days old. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Roy Leddington and the late Gladys Howard Leddington. By occupation he was a retired U. S. Army Veteran and had served in the Vietnam Conflict. Mr John Henry Leddington was affiliated with the Stinnett Gap Church of God and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. John was a member of the V.F.W., D.A.V. and he enjoyed reading the bible, dining out and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy & Gladys Leddington and leaves surviving the following relatives: One Daughter: Amy Leddington of Indiana Four Brothers: Larry Leddington of Stinnett, KY Eddie Leddington of Stinnett, KY William Leddington & Wife Bonita of Stinnett, KY. Eugene Leddington & Wife Rhonda of Stinnett, KY. One Sister: Violet Sue Leddington of Stinnett, KY. He is also survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. John Henry Leddington will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Stinnett Gap Church of God at Stinnett, Kentucky with Rev. Chad Hensley and Rev. Willie Garrett Morgan officiating. Visitation will begin after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday March 12, 2008 at the church. Burial will follow in the Howard Leddington Cemetery located at Stinnett, KY with Military Rites observed by the Leslie County D.A.V. Chapter #133.
