The Obituary of Mrs. Juanita B. Johnson Officiating Minister: Mack Lewis Mrs. Juanita B. Johnson was born on August 21, 1939 in Hyden, Ky. and passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, Ky. She was 73 years of age at the time of her passing. Juanita was the Daughter of the late John Bowling and the late Doshia Lewis Bowling and Wife of the late John Johnson. By occupation Juanita was employed by Mary Breckinridge Hospital as an Administrator Assistant. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was a Member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ. Juanita enjoyed working and being involved in the lives of her children & grandchildren as hobbies. She was Preceded in Death by: Parents: John "Pluck" Bowling and Doshia Lewis Bowling; Brothers: Johnny Bowling and Harold Bowling; Husband: John Johnson. Juanita leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Donnie Johnson & Carissa of Hyden, KY.; Daughter: Melissa Carlson & Carl of Lexington, KY.; Sister: Ruby Hill of Hyden, KY.; Grandchildren: Zachary, Matthew, Andrew, Kayla, Brian & Senila, Trenton and Julie; Great-Grandchildren: Ian Johnson and Dylan Johnson; A host of treasured nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Bowling Johnson will be conducted on Monday ~ Dec. 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Mack Lewis officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday ~ Dec. 9, 2012 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Grassy Gap Cemetery at Hyden, Ky.
