The obituary of Mrs. Myrtle Etta Egan Officiating Ministers: Rev. Denver Brock, Rev. Marvin Egan, Rev. Roscoe Asher, Rev. Dwight Brock Mrs. Myrtle Etta Egan born January 13, 1948 departed this life on November 11, 2009 at the age of 61 years. She was born at Beverly, KY the daughter of the late Farmer Asher and the late Matilda Brock Asher. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. She enjoyed fishing, camping,cooking outdoors, car racing and watching wrestling. Myrtle was affiliated with the Pentecostal Faith and she enjoyed attending church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Farmer and Matilda Asher, Husband and Father of Children: Robert Egan, two brothers: Francis Arthur Asher and Tom J. Asher. She leaves surviving the following relatives: one son: Jeff Egan & Sarah of Partridge, KY, two daughters: Sherry Brock & Freddie of Bledsoe, KY, Margie Stacey & Gary of Bledsoe, KY, four brothers: Leamon Asher & Joyce of Bledsoe, KY, Eugene Asher & Stella of Helton, KY, Roscoe Asher & Etta of Helton, KY and Earl Asher & Sheila of Helton, KY, two sisters: Carrie Brays of Union City, TN and Margie Brock of Manchester, KY., nine grandchildren: Tasha & Tim Caldwell, Blake Whitehead, Keisha Brock, Heavenley Egan, Emily Egan, Shylene Egan, Omi Egan, Janie Burkhart and Freddie B. Egan, one great grandchild: Timothy Isaiah Caldwell. Myrtle is also survived by 20 special nieces and nephews and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Etta Egan will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday - November 14, 2009 at the Bledsoe Pentecostal Church at Bledsoe, KY with Rev. Denver Brock, Rev. Marvin Egan, Rev. Roscoe Asher and Rev. Dwight Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Honey Branch Cemetery located at Helton, KY, under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday - November 13, 2009 at the church. The following will serve as pallbearers: Freddie, Gary, Blake, Tim, Curt, Troy, Jeff, Wayne, William, Jason, Junior, Darrell and Aaron.
