James Bowling & Keith Bowling Faye Hacker Bowling was born on October 18, 1930 at Stinnett, Ky., the daughter of the late, Keen & Dallie Smith Hacker, she passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky. at the age of 80 years, 3 months & 9 days. Faye was a former employee of the Frontier Nursing Service & the Leslie Co. Sheriff's Department under the administration of her husband, Ford. Faye was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church at Essie, Ky. where she taught Sunday School for over 20 years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking & singing. Faye Hacker Bowling was preceded in death by her parents: Keen & Dallie Hacker, her husband of 58 years: Ford Bowling, one grandchild: Jacob Nettleton, one great-great-grandchild: Chassity Maggard, one brother: Bradley, three sisters: Helen Burns, Mae Gray & Margie Yates, one daughter-in-law: Trish, one son-in-law: Donnie Herring & one nephew: Josh Hacker She leaves the following relatives surviving: two sons: Paul Bowling of Stinnett, KY. & Bill Bowling & Hallie of Hyden, Ky., six daughters: Wanda Powers & Lloyd of Blaine, Ky., Linda Bowling of Stinnett, KY., Joann Herring of Stinnett, KY., Kathy Napier & Bill of Burnside, Ky., Debbie Turner & Doug & Dianna Mosley & Johnny of Hyden, KY., six brothers: John Hacker & Peggy of Stinnett, KY., Matrend "Doc" Hacker & Wanda of Stinnett, KY., James "T.R." Hacker & Evelyn of Stinnett, KY., Riley Hacker & Pam of Stinnett, Ky., Junior Ray Hacker of Lexington, Ky. & Ronnie Mac Hacker & Theresa of Lexington, Ky., three sisters: Rose Nell Roberts & Floyd of Stinnett, Ky., Anna Ruth Napier & Eugene of Stinnett, Ky. & Wilma Barrett & Lynn of Stinnett, Ky., 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren & 10 great-great-grandchildren, also a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service for Faye Hacker Bowling will be conducted on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church at Hyden, Ky., with Rev. Teddy Couch, Pastor Rachel Davison, Rev. James Bowling, Jr. & Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling-Napier Family Cemetery at (Puncheon Camp Rd.), Hyden, KY., The following will serve as pallbearers:Greg Barrett, Brandon Mills, Ben Turner, Jason Mills, Joshua Barger, Jonathan Maggard & Tyler Collett.
