The Obituary for: Mr. Edwin "Ed" Bowling Officiating Minister: Victor Lewis Mr. Edwin "Ed" Bowling was born on May 24, 1937 at Wooton, Ky., the Son of the late Roy & Mallie Hensley Bowling. He passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 at his residence at 355 Sage Dr. in Hyden, Ky. at the age of 75 years, 4 months & 21 days. Ed was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. by occupation he was a retired carpenter. He was affiliated with the Apple Orchard Church of Christ. Ed was an avid gun collector & enjoyed hunting. Edwin "Ed" Bowling was preceded in death by his Parents: Roy & Mallie Hensley Bowling; Sisters: Grace Pennington, Gladys Bowling, Rose Bowling & Helen Vanover; Brother: Elmer. He leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Mark Pennington of Somerset, Ky; Daughters: April Evans of Dallas, Texas and Angie Carson; Brothers: Clifton Bowling & Patsy of Hyden, KY., Clayton Bowling & Patricia of Somerset, KY., Arthur Bowling & Hazel of Hyden, Ky. & Donald Ray Bowling of Morehead, Ky.; Sisters: Doris Johnson of Hyden, Ky. and Lois Adams of Hyden, KY. Also a host of grandchildren, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home at Hyden, KY. with Victor Lewis officiating.
