Randy Woods Mr. Billy Joe Osborne was born on September 15, 1972 at Hyden, KY. and departed this life on February 13, 2011 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. He was 38 years of age at the time of his passing. Billy Joe was the son of Golden Osborne, Jr. and Wilma Griffie Osborne. By occupation he was a Coal Miner (Mine Foreman) employed by James River Coal Co. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County. He enjoyed motorcycle & dirt bike racing and spending time with his friends & family. He was affiliated with the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church - Hyden, KY. He was preceded in death by his: Maternal Grandparents: Pauline & Birchel Griffie; Aunt: Ethel Griffie; Mother-In-Law: Evalee Eldridge. Billy Joe leaves the following relatives surviving: Parents: Golden Osborne, Jr. & Wilma Griffie Osborne of Thousandsticks, KY.; Wife: Elizabeth Eldridge Osborne of Thousandsticks, KY.; Sons: Doug Stevens, Cody Wooton and Tyler Wooton all of Thousandsticks, KY.; Paternal Grandparents: Golden & Dallie Osborne of Thousandsticks, KY.; Father-In-Law: Walter Eldridge of Busy, KY.; Step Daughters: Katina Garrison & Rob of Stinnett, KY. and Rhonda Osborne & Joe of Thousandsticks, KY.; Brother: Jamie "Goob" Osborne of Thousandsticks, KY.; Sister: Anna Hacker & Brian of Stinnett, KY.; Special Friends: Columbus Begley, Bill Eldridge and Kevin Eldridge; Step Grandchildren: Randy Garrison, Billy Ray Garrison, Paige Garrison, Nicholas Garrison and Dalton Osborne; Nieces: Breanne Hacker and Brooklynn Hacker; Nephew: Brandon Hacker. Funeral services for Mr. Billy Joe Osborne will be conducted on Thursday - Feb. 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church - Hyden, KY. with Rev. Teddy Couch & Rev. Randy Woods officiating. Burial will follow at the Gillie Osborne Cemetery at Thousandsticks, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Jamie Osborne, Doug Stevens, Bill Eldridge, Joe Osborne, J.L. Osborne, Jerry Woods, Donnie Osborne, Cody Wooton and Brian Hacker. Friends may call for visitation at the church on Tuesday - Feb. 15, 2011 beginning at 6:00 P.M., all day Wednesday - Feb. 16, 2011 and up until the time of the funeral Thursday - Feb. 17, 2011.
