The obituary of Mrs. Shelia Walker Officiating Ministers: Rev. Ray Wilson and Rev. Edmond Barger Mrs. Shelia Walker born April 27, 1931 departed this life on April 25, 2010 at the age of 78 years. She was born at Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late Bill Wilder and the late Ivory Barger Wilder. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Mrs. Shelia Walker was affiliated with the Rockhouse Baptist Church and she enjoyed sewing, reading and cooking. Shelia was preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Ivory Wilder, husband: Fred Walker, three brothers: Carlo, Rufus and Arnold, one sister: Della Wilder, granddaughter: Arlene Francis Walker, one great grandson: Ethan Michael Adams. She leaves surviving the following relatives: three sons Darrell Wayne Walker & Katie of Leatherwood, KY. Estill Walker & Georgia of Wooton, KY Freddy Paul Campbell & Jessica of Yeaddiss, Ky, four daughters: Rose Ann Campbell & Arvil of Hyden, KY, Ivory Montgomery & John of Ohio, Sheila Kaye Day & Paul of Hyden, KY, Charlotte Collett & Frank of Hyden, KY, Daughter-In-Law: Reva Walker of Manchester, KY, one brother: Estill J. Wilder & Lona of IN, one sister: Alice Sizemore of IN, special nephew: Carl Edward Sizemore, special nieces: Teresa V. Wilder, Geneva Sizemore & Rickey Dale. Sheila is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Shelia Walker will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday - April 29, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Wilson and Rev. Edmond Barger officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery at Hyden (Stacy Fork), KY. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday - April 28, 2010 at the funeral home chapel.
