He was 21 years old. Chad was born at Hyden, Ky., the son of Lonnie Muncy & Vickie Collett of Mozelle, Ky. Chad was former employee of IGA grocery store at Hyden, Ky. and attended Leslie Co. High School. Mr. Chad Byron Muncy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Harvey Muncy, & maternal grandfathers: Wiley Collett & Clarence Baker. Mr. Chad Byron Muncy leaves the following relatives surviving: parents: Lonnie & Vickie Collett Muncy of Mozelle, Ky., one sister: Jennifer Nicole Muncy of Mozelle, Ky., one niece: Courtney Rochelle Watts of Mozelle, Ky., maternal grandmother: Mona Baker of Hyden, Ky., Paternal grandmother: Irma Gean Muncy of Mozelle, KY., four uncles: Harvey Dean Muncy & Mary Jane of Mozelle, Ky., Johnny Muncy & Judy of Mozelle, Ky., David Baker & Patricia of Jackson, Ky., Wiley Collett, Jr., special cousins: Joshua, Jacob,& Jonathan Muncy, special friend; Timothy Roark and a host of treasured cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Chad Byron Muncy will be held at 1:00 p.m. -Saturday - April 25, 2009 at the Lower Beech Fork United Methodist Church at Mozelle, KY with Pastor Steve Springer and Rev. Geoffery Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Muncy Family Cemetery at Mozelle, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. The following will serve as pallbearers: Jonathan Muncy, Joshua Muncy, Jacob Muncy, Timothy Roark, Dwight Watts, Wiley Collett Jr., Alvin Nantz, Chris Brock, Joshua Belcher, Johnny Baker, Shawn Smith, Chad Kirby, Elmer Huff, James Griffith, Kevin Slusher, Jamie Simpson & Shelby Howard.
